BIS, RIS and big Wins

Scott's Rio - 2013 ARBA Convnetion BOB

Scott's Enders Game is off to a BIG start!

Enders Game hit the show tables this fall with a BIS and has only been beaten a couple of times for BOB. Unfortunately, two of those times, he was beaten by one of my does that went on to win BIS or RIS.  He now has 13 legs, 4 for BIS, 9 BOB, 3 BOS, and a BOV.  His first litters are on the way.

2018 was a light showing year.

2018 Convention was a light entry for me.  Only took 17 rabbits.  Most placed in the top of their classes.  My lone dwarf, I entered finished BOSG.  We were able to bring home 5 BOB, 3 BOS, 2 BISS, and a BIS show in the 6 shows I attended.  So overall a great year for light showing.

2022 is off with a bang for the Mini Lops

Scott's Queen took BOB at the 2022 Spring National Breed show.  Scott's Broken Passions took BOS.  My good friend Heather showed them, congrats to her for the wins.

Scott's Large Marge In Charge Wins the SSD class at the 2017 ARBA Convention

I was fortunate enough to win the Best Display and have several animals who placed in the top 10 of their classes.  It was a great week with great friends

Scott's Kind Eyes wins BOB at the 2016 ARBA  Convention!

Scott's Kind Eye's took BOB at the 2016 ARBA Convention in Del Mar, CA.  It was totally a surprise and completely awesome.  She was a bottom cage find (put there when she was in her uglies) about a month before convention, and luckily finished her coat when we arrived in Del Mar.  It was perfect timing for her.  She was special one from the get go and got her name for the beautiful fur she has had since hoping out of the nest box.  She is out of Super Sonic's brother, Lost Brother who produced just this litter and Lil Surprise (2nd place SSD from 2015 Convention with 3 BIS and 2 RIS.

Kind Eye's is a great granddaughter of Scott's Rio (2014 ARBA BOB) and 13 of the 15 rabbits on her pedigree have top 5 placings at a convention or national show.

Super Sonic winning Best of the Best!

Scott's Super Sonic Sassy winning Best of the Best at the Intergalactic show in Michigan.  She went on to win four more BISs over the course of the 2016 spring show season.  She is now at home and bred to Black Fire...  Here is to a whole litter of black mini lops.

Black Fire winning his 11 BIS/RIS!

Scott's Black Fire after winning his 11th BIS/RIS, 72 leg and 39 BOB.

Scott's Deadliest Catch win BOS at the 2015 ARBA  Convention!

Another convention is in the books for Scott's Mini Lops.  We brought home another Best Display, Best Opposite Sex, and several top 5 places.  Deadliest Catch was the big winner, taking BOS.  He is following in his father's footsteps, winning the big prizes.  It was his first time out of the barn too.

Deadliest Catch has two litters on the way.  One to his half sister who was BOSV at the 2012 ARBA Convention, and the other to Rita who is out of Scott's Rio the 2013 ARBA Convention BOB, her grandfather Scott's Bosly was the 2011 MLRCA National BOB

Mike and Debbie Barnhart with BOS and me with BOB with Dark FAll

Scott's Dark Fall wins BOB at the OSRBA Spring Speciality/MLRCA Nationals.

This show was a national level show with over 300 animals entered in Open and another 100 plus in youth.  I was extremely excited when I took first place SSB with Scott's Black Fire and second with Scott's Ghost Rider.  Topped it off with first and second place BSB with Dark Fall and Dipitido was second.

Mike and Debbie Barnhart with BOS (out of Scott's Kaden) and me with BOB - Dark Fall

BIS, RIS and big Wins

The 2014 MLRCA Nationals have come and gone.

It was a great show with lots of top notch animals.  I was fortunate enough to bring home BOSV solid with Sterling and won the BJD class with Prada.  Prada then went on to win fur (this is the first time I have ever entered fur class).  Took home Best Display, placing 41 of the 52 animals that I entered.  The day after Specialty Shows had me winning BOB in Show A and BOB and BOS in show B.  It was a great weekend with great people.  Michigan can host an amazing show.

To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge. ~ Summer Sanders
